1. What is Charity Mobiles all about?

   Quite simply, for every pay monthly contract mobile phone (including free phones) purchased from the site, £25 will be donated to the customer's favourite charity.

2. How do I choose which charity will receive £25?

   Your currently Supported Charity is shown in the grey banner just above the "Frequently Asked Questions" heading. If this says "Choose a Charity" or you wish to choose another charity then click here, you'll then be able to choose another charity.

3. How much of the £25 goes to my charity?

   The full £25 is given to the charity of your choice. Not a single penny is deducted to run this site as all staffing and administration costs are generously covered by our sister company, Mobiles.co.uk, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Carphone Warehouse Group.

4. When will charities receive the money?

   Donations are paid monthly regardless of whether your charity has earned £25 or £2500 in a month.

5. How do I know when the charity will receive the money?

   Each donation made will be accompanied by a list of the order numbers that make up that total donation which will allow you to confirm that your order number is on the list. You will also receive a confirmation email once a donation is actually sent to your charity.

6. Why isn't my favourite charity listed?

   There are over 150,000 registered charities in the UK and unfortunately it's impossible to list them all from day one.

   However, adding your favourite charity is a simple process. Just add the charity details to our Add a Charity form and we will normally validate a new charity within 48 hours. Please note we only accept official UK registered charities.

7. Is it safe to order online?

   Yes, absolutely. We have been selling mobile phones online since 1995, longer than any other UK company, and in that time have never had any customer's details compromised. The Charity Mobiles site uses 128 bit high-grade encryption to ensure your confidential details remain secure.

8. What about privacy?

   To protect your privacy, the only information we send to each charity is a unique order reference for reconciliation purposes. We do not send them your name, email, phone number or any other information about you. View our full privacy policy.
